2023年7月31日 · The 3DS had a lot of good rpgs: Fire Emblem series Devil Survivor 1 & 2 (especially since you mentioned SMT IV) Bravely Default & Bravely Second Radiant Historia Stella Glow (sorta like Fire Emblem) Etrian Odyssey series (less on the story and more about team building and dungeon crawling)

It’s sort of a niche franchise, but the Etrian Odyssey series (III is the only one exclusively for the DS, all the other games are on the 3DS or have a remastered version) is a lot of fun if you’re looking for a challenge and don’t mind having a shallower narrative. Dragon Quest VIII is probably my all-time favorite JRPG. The 3DS port is solid, despite the limitations of the system. The Dragon Quest VII remake for the 3DS is even better suited to the system, but I think VIII is a better and more accessible experience overall.

2019年10月22日 · Rune Factory 1-3. honestly I mentioned how they played in the 3ds post, but 1 and 2 are a good deal 'slower' combat wise compared to 3, and the 3ds' 4. This one is... well people will debate with me over this. But if you like zelda type rpgs, try Tingle's Rosy rupeeland.

2023年4月9日 · The Story of Seasons games let you customise your character and romance. It's a cute farming rpg game so the focus is on growing crops, raising animals, getting married and having kids. Story of Seasons:Trio of Towns is the best one on the 3DS but Harvest Moon 3D A New Beginning and Story of Seasons are good too.

2014年12月1日 · If you aren't opposed to playing DS games, the DS probably has a lot more turn-based RPGs than the 3DS currently does. Some that are not to be missed include the Dragon Quest games (remakes of IV, V, and VI, as well as Dragon Quest IX), the Final Fantasy III and IV remakes (the latter is particularly fantastic).
