Here are the main differences :-the turbo is a CT20b (as on ST205 3sgte)-the turbo and the exhaust manifold are casted togheter (its impossible to remove only the turbo)-this exhaust manifold will not fit any other 3sgte head because it doesnt use the same bolts pattern (7 bolts)

2005年6月24日 · Alright i'm smack dab in the middle of my n/a to 2nd gen 3sgte swap. Almost have the engine all prepped and ready. So i'm looking at the wiring harness from kick panel back and I dont see why I couldn't use the interior harness. I completly understand having to use the engine bay wiring harness.

2012年9月21日 · If money weren't an issue, I'd probably do the 2ZZ-GE. However if it is, I see no better way on a reasonable budget to have a reliable 300hp in a MK1 MR2 than a 3rd generation 3SGTE. I'm personally going to left field with a 1.8-1.9L 7A-GE 20v turbo build.

The TPS on the 3SGTE has 4 terminals: Ground, 5v, signal and IDL. The IDL pin is a switch that pulls to ground when the throttle closes completely, telling the ECU that the engine is idling.
