2020年11月9日 · 4 Monos are defenders of organic farming—they produce white and red, regional and village, young and ancient vines with consistent expression of the Gredos terroir. White wines are made from Albillo, Viura, and Moscatel. Reds are made from classic grapes of Madrid—Garnacha, Cariñena, and bits of Syrah.

The GR-10 is named after the spectacular walking trail, GR-10, which connects Lisbon and Valencia and crosses through a few of 4 Monos' vineyards. A blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Morenillo and Syrah, it pours a pale mid-ruby color with garnet highlights.

Husband and wife Javier García and Laura Robles work as winemakers, while David Velasco looks after the numbers and Cadalso de los Vidrios-born David Moreno lends his family’s vineyards.

4 Monos GR10 2022 is a light red wine, boasting an enticing hue that ranges between cherry and ruby. On the nose, it is distinguished by aromas of fresh fruits such as raspberries, accompanied by floral notes of violets and a subtle smoky hint reminiscent of pencil lead.
