The '90 4.5 and the '91-95 4.9 are virtually indentical. Only major differences being a stroke increase, deletion of A.I.R. system, and new design oil pump on '91 and up 4.9's. The '90 4.5 has all of the same reinforcements on the block, PFI fuel injection system, heads, cam, etc. Very reliable engine if maintained.

2004年3月10日 · It looks like in 1990, the 4.5L jumped to 180hp and 220tq. Then of course you have the Allante, which made 200hp and 270tq (1991). Displacement is the same for the 155hp and the 200hp motors, obviously. From what I understand...the 155hp to 180hp jump in the 4.5L was due to the addition of sequential port fuel injection.
