The early WAP aluminum block that replaced the Teksid in the 2001 Cobra was considered weaker due to a lower grade alloy used in the casting . This is why the supercharged 2003-4 Cobra's used the Romeo iron block from the GT .

2009年3月14日 · 4.6 DOHC Engine has to be removed I took the car too two different shops and I was told by the first one that they could get the heads out without removing the engine. The second shop and also the dealer said that they had to remove the engine to get the heads out and replace the gaskets! its not a cobra its just a GT with the 4.6L DOHC engine!

2024年9月2日 · We did a 4.6L DOHC swap freshly built engine, we put in an automatic 4R70W transmission due to having shifting issues with the previous transmission. Replaced the Computer with a Mach1 computer to accommodate the automatic transmission, also put in new solenoids. So after the transmission swap still having the same issue.
