Is my 400w PSU enough for my RX 580? | TechPowerUp Forums
2020年1月24日 · 650 TI's nominal maximum is 110w, RX 580 is almost twice that (around 190). 650TI is 6pin, 580 is 6+8 pin. I'd definitely upgrade, 400 is too low in my opinion for a stable system with this hardware. 550 is good enough, 650w (something like RM650x from corsair) is …
Best GPU I Can Buy For 400W EVGA PSU? - TechPowerUp
2020年8月11日 · I ask because silly me was duped into buying a 1000w PSU for my old X99 rig. One i7-5930k with 64GB of RAM and 2x 980 ti's + 2 SSD's and one mechanical drive. Didn''t even pull 700w according the my plugin power meter, pfff.

2020年1月24日 · Well I generally just shared my personal experience with a rather cheap 450W PSU combined with an RX 570 and a 580 since thats what the topic was about. In my case thats what happened so personally I would avoid using a 400W PSU with a 580,maybe a 570 if its a decent unit unlike what I had previously.
400w problem with rx 580 | TechPowerUp Forums
2020年6月25日 · It is too much for PSU. Guy here tried 1070Ti and PSU was not enough, RX 580 is using more power. 1060 may work but it will be on the edge, I think your best option is to replace PSU, the problem is though that HP has proprietary motherboard power connector but apparently you can buy adapter, see thread I linked 24pin to 18pin power adapter.

2020年1月24日 · many moons ago I had one of those molex to 8pin on a r9 card think it was a msi 390X and the adapter melted and caught fire, the psu was old but 750watt , every thing still worked when i got another psu with the proper gpu power leads but it was enough to put me off using the adapters again.
How does PSU efficiency affect me and do I really need an 80 Plus …
2010年8月25日 · I've seen people say that you take the Wattage rating of the PSU, and the efficiency is how much power the PSU can really output for your component. That means that a 500w PSU, rated for 80% efficiency will only be able to supply 400w. This is wrong. A 500w PSU should be able to output 500w to your PC components in one form or another.
Is this OEM psu good for 1660 Ti - TechPowerUp
2024年10月25日 · I think the ATX PSU regulations specify a maximum permitted ripple of +/-100mV on the 12V rails. Good PSUs will be +/-20 to +/-30mV ripple at full rated power output. Lower quality PSUs or those with old electrolytics which …
will a rtx 3060 ti be enough for a 400w 80+ bronze psu?
2021年3月13日 · A 400w PSU isn't going to cut it. Nvidia officially recommends a 600w PSU and I'd say to not go lower than a 500w quality unit. We don't know the model of your PSU either, which is very important. A good PSU is cheap compared to the price of your other components, you should really be allocating more money to the most important part of your PC.
GTX 980 on 400W psu? | TechPowerUp Forums
2014年9月23日 · Hes got one of the best 400w PSUs money can buy, GTX980 just alone only consumes ~180w, ~95w for the CPU, and then couple more watts for the fans and drives and he will probably not consume more than 350w full system load.
Is 400w enough for gtx 960 - TechPowerUp
2015年12月22日 · The CPU is 53W max and can't be overclocked with his current combo. There are power limits on the 960 that will top it off around 150W or so. That is 200W at the absolute WORST, likely less. A quality 400W is fine. I would even overclock that CPU if it could with a 400W PSU... there isn't remotely a need for a 500W PSU for this system.
