2021年2月11日 · My comparison is based on similar sized guns except for the 460S&W. The others are all Ruger Bisleys with 6.5-7" barrels. The 460S&W was a 8 3/8" X-frame DA revolver. If the 460 was the same gun as the other three it would I suspect it move to the front of the line for snappiness and overall recoil.

2012年1月24日 · Ok, I recently bought a NEW #1 in .460 S&W Mag. Took it to the range because I just couldn't wait until I got my scope mounted to shoot it. It shot about 10 inches high from the factory setting on the iron sights.

2018年7月23日 · Seeing as they already offer the SR1911 in 10mm Auto, a .460 Rowland conversion just seems kind of pointless. Seriously, it's a nonstandard cartridge which isn't widely available, doesn't offer all that much over full power 10mm Auto, and requires a rather extensive/costly conversion to be fired from a 1911.

2017年6月11日 · The 460 Rowland is a totally different cartridge. The brass case is about 1/16" longer than a 45 ACP, thus it requires a deeper chamber that eliminates using the gun with 45 ACP ammo.. The max chamber pressure for a 460 Roland is 40,000 psi, which is well above the industry standard for Blackhawk "Ruger Only" loads (30,000 psi).

2015年10月2日 · So the smallest 460XVR weighs a pound more than your Alaskan. It's a five shot. Ammo is spendy unless you reload. Factory 460 S&W Mag is around $2 ea. 460 S&W Mag is an impressive round however. Mine is a stock 8 3/8" barrel model and shoots fast and hard. No holdover out to 100 yards. I love it.
