She advised me to contact my carrier because the setting could be locked by them.

Aug 30, 2018 · The mobile settings is missing quite a few settings including VoLTE. I finally stumbled across the *#*#4636#*#* code and flipped VoLTE on and suddenly I had LTE. This worked for a few months, I didn't have to leave VoLTE enabled to get LTE I could just toggle it and it would connect.

Sep 25, 2023 · Apparently if you dial *#*#4636#*#* from the phone app you can change the preferred network type there. The options for LTE and 5G are not listed that way, but one of the network options correlates to LTE and another correlates to 5G.
