463L Tensioners, 463L Chains and 463L Tie Downs: 463L pallets are framed on all four sides by aluminum rails. The rails feature 22 tie-down rings: 6 rings on each long side and 5 rings on each short side. Each ring has a 7,500-pound restraint capacity.

The "463L Master Pallets" can be unloaded on the ground in peacetime or in combat. They are built of a balsa wood core and surrounded by a thin aluminum skin. There are 22 tie-down rings surrounding the edge, each rated at 7,500 pounds (3,400 kg).
