2021年4月9日 · The Guard 46S I know seem to stay within their own states unless their state's Guard is going to a big exercise somewhere. In my 5.5 years in the Reserve I've been sent all over the country. All of my trips were for work so it wasn't a vacation, but there are always opportunities to have fun if you're in a unit with good leadership.

2021年3月22日 · Everyone I’ve talked to (E1-04) have all said it was the best job in the army. The only complaints I’ve heard would apply to any MOS. Basically people don’t like the Army and that’s the part of the job they have a problem with. But even the most disgruntled PAO I could find still insisted he had the best job in the army.

2021年6月6日 · A PAO and a PA specialist are two very different jobs (although there are some changes coming to our force manning that may impact that). If you want to be a journalist/photographer then you’ll love being a 46S. If you want to be a communications/PR manager/press secretary, then being an Officer should be the goal.

2021年11月2日 · The schoolhouse is still backed up due to the 46Q/46R merger into 46S. We are absolutely still taking dudes off the street into the MOS, but as I understand it, there are only so many IET active duty slots available per fiscal year.

2023年4月6日 · They’re turn around for getting products into the information environment is, in my experience, much slower than the 46S side. If you got questions HMU. I’m always down to help people who are interested and motivated to get into the PA field. The PAO side of the Army is absolutely amazing though.

2023年3月29日 · Hi, 46s here! 95% of my job done is photography and video, very rarely do I actually have to write press releases. 46v usually get to do more intensive things so pick whichever speed you think’ll fit. 46v have a slightly longer school time though.
