The 47401 Project is the owner of the pioneer Class 47 locomotive formerly numbered D1500 and also its stablemate D1516 (47417) which are preserved at the Midland Railway, Butterley.

2022年7月10日 · Built in 1962 at BR Crewe Works, a total of 512 being built between 1962 and 1968 at Crewe and Loughborough, this Sulzer powered loco. was originally numbered D1516. It was one of the original twenty allocated to BR Eastern Region which were different to the rest in having both steam heating and electric heating.
