2011年10月10日 · My thinking is that 5.56 will be more available than 5.45 in a SHTF situation, well that and I actually think the 5.56 is a good medium sized round for most situations. Also, what brands of AK well put together, I have heard good things about Saiga's but never used them, I have experience with mostly Norinco, but have have mixed things about them.

Basically shooting 7n6 5.45 out of a 16" AK is equal, or better, than firing m855 out of a 14.5" or 16" carbine.

2012年1月12日 · AR15,.223/5.56, 14.5" barrel, 1 in 7 twist. 55 grain bulk pack Federal. I zeroed it at 50 yards. It is approx 1" high at 100 yards and approx 1" low at 200 yards. I can hit the 275 yard 12"x24" gong at the local range fairly easy without having to hold any vertical correction ( other than hold top 1/2 of the target ).

I have examples of all three types and personally for my area would be more inclined to carry a CAR-15 varient.
