2011年9月25日 · My best advice, if this is for a primary SD/HD rifle, get an FS2000. 5.56 chamber, 1:7 twist chrome lined bore, STANAG mags, truely ambidexterous and shorter length with its 17.5" barrel than my issue M4 is with its stock collapsed.

2019年4月19日 · Yes, the 5.7 in an accurate 10/22-style rifle would be amazing. A near-perfect California ground squirrel rifle. Realistically, though, the .17 HMR already fills this niche very well, and more-or-less owns this market space for good reason.

2021年8月23日 · Most rimfire suppressors of all stainless construction are rated for FN5.7. They won’t be as quiet as even a subcompact rifle suppressor (Turbo K) or compact suppressor (Omega 300) but are more handy on a pistol. A 9mm Omega 9k is about as loud as a rated rimfire suppressor and works with the high sights of the FiveseveN pistol.

2023年12月16日 · I clicked on this thread because I am wanting the LC carbine myself. I'm a big fan of the 5.7x28, I currently have the Ruger 57 and 3- PSA Rocks, I have had 2 different FN 5.7s in the past and the PS90 but those just didn't do it for me.

2011年4月25日 · I found neglible difference between 22 WMR and 5.7 energies with similar weight bullets. Bullet selection, of course, is broader in the 5.7 since you can reload it, and most 22 mags are loaded with simple LRN or lead HPs. RE reloading, stickin rifle projos in a handgun could create "armor piercing" controversy.

2023年2月27日 · I got super excited at release about the new S&W M&P 5.7 and bought one the day after my LGS got them in. I have had a SilencerCo Sparrow for about a year and have only used it mostly on a 22/45 pistol with around a 500 rouind count and a few mags thought a 10/22 rifle. Since its rated for the 5.7 I gave it a whirl today.

2020年4月10日 · Black Rifle, I agree with you. I've said several times on YouTube reviews of the RUGER 57 or PC carbine that making the PC carbine in 5.7 x 28 is a "no-brainer". I'm pretty sure we'll see it in 2021 or sooner - maybe in time for Christmas? (A boy can hope.) Eric B.
