May 30, 2022 · Alright so i am at my wits end with this, and i would really appreciate any help. i cannot figure out if the flexplate off my 302 is a 50oz imbalance or a 28 oz. I know it is a 164 tooth i am almost positive the harmonic balancer is a 50oz. The harmonic balancer has a part number that reads E4TE-A3A if that tells anyone anything.

Jul 31, 2005 · don't worry about grabbing a 50oz flexplate, you can see the difference from accross the room, the 50oz wheels ,have less material in them and a larger balance weight , and the pitch ,is the same from the aod, to all the ones i tryed,but the other imput was still good idea, can i ask how fast without the bottle ,curious ok bill

Mar 22, 2014 · What I ave been chasing was a vibration issue on my 66 mustang. I have a balanced rotating assembly in a 289 which originally had a flywheel. Installed the original c4 that was rebuilt. But I supplied the shop with a flexplate. I think it may be for a 302 with a 50oz weight.
