Based on the 575 and evocative of the famous and prizewinning GT Zagato, just like its ancestor the 575 GTZ has a two-tone aluminium body, with styling details and volumes harking back to the 50s. Presented at Villa d’Este in 2006, instead of the five planned, like for the 250 GTZ, six units were produced, as a collector requested two of them.

It was designed to recall the 250 GT Berlinetta Zagato and commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari 250 range. The GTZ was officially endorsed by Ferrari and includes Zagato's trademark double-bubble roofline and two-tone paint scheme. Eventually six cars were built. The mechanical components were unchanged.
