What is the 3.5l v8 from? : r/ForzaHorizon - Reddit
2021年12月23日 · I watched a couple of the videos with the Rover V8, and I very much doubt thats the engine referenced by '3.5L V8' in the game. They sound nothing alike, and the Rover V8 seems to be a fairly low-performance (relative to the monster engines we can play with in Forza, mind you) duty engine with a focus on torque, not horsepower.
3.5 Ecoboost vs. 5.0 V8. : r/f150 - Reddit
2023年1月6日 · They both towed the trailer great. The 5.0 makes power at a higher rpm so the engine was revved higher over the pass. The 3.5 makes more torque at a lower rpm so it towed at a lower rpm and “felt” like it wasn’t working as hard to pull the trailer. To me the 3.5 tows more like a diesel while the 5.0 rows like every other naturally ...
Anyone else like small engines with lots of cylinders? Like a 2.5L V8 ...
My two favourite engines are the 2.5L Aircooled Tatra 603 V8 making 100hp (200 in race trim) and the Alfa Romeo DOHC 2.5L Montreal V8 making 200hp. They rev pretty high and sound amazing too. May not make a huge amount of power but they’re just really cool
Thoughts on a 97 OBS F-250 7.5 V8 manual 4x4? : r/FordTrucks
For the past almost 6 years my daily driver / tow rig has been an 89 F-350 crew cab long bed dually with a 7.5 l V8 and the 5-speed manual and it has honestly been the most reliable truck I have ever owned out of almost 40 vehicles.
Ford Ecoboost 3.5 vs. 5.0L V8. Which do you prefer? : r/cars - Reddit
2014年3月29日 · A smaller diesel engine would work far better then any gasoline engine for any application. A 2.5 turbo'd 4 cyl will pull as much as any gasoline V8 or ecoboost engine while getting better economy and less maintenance cost with far longer durability. Why do you think the commercial world strictly uses diesel?
2019 5.0L V8 vs. 3.6L EcoBoost V6? : r/f150 - Reddit
2020年5月16日 · The 5.0 has the edge in horsepower, ease of modifications, and the sound. I love my 3.5 but even I smile when a 5.0 (or any V8) rumbles by. Gas mileage is basically a tie when you factor in differences in your daily drive and driving style. 3.5 gets 1 mpg better on paper. I’ve read that the 5.0 gets slightly better mpg when towing.
How on earth did they get 670hp out of a 5.5L V8 in the C8Z?
There are two factors that make this difficult: as before, emissions and reliability. Reliability first: flat plane crank v8s at high displacements tend to suffer reliability issues. See: Ford's recent engines in the Mustang. Chevy either did a ton of work to make a 5.5L FPC v8 reliable ..... or they did not, and we will find out.

5.0 V8 a bad choice? : r/f150 - Reddit
2022年8月30日 · I drive both 5.0 and 2.7 regularly (work vs personal). Regular driving and towing. The 5.0 feels like a dog compared to the 2.7 as the V8 needs to rev twice as high to get any power. On paper the V8 has higher peak power, but the 2.7 has a better power curve. If you are buying pre 2018 I would probably suggest the 5.0.
