Bought the 6177-20 despite some of the negative reviews I've read. Used it tonight to shorten some hardened steel grader blade cutting edges measuring 5/8" thick, and 5" wide for a project. Granted, it's not what this machine is designed to cut, but slow and steady is an absolute must when cutting hardened steel.
