2006年5月11日 · For MS 6395 in the broadly available retail brands, only Mobil 1 synthetics come to mind not being tested for meeting the spec. - but this falls outside your question on conventional or synthetic blends. Mobil 5K conventional, Mobil Special conventional, and Mobil Super synthetic do meet MS-6395.

2015年3月30日 · Mostly because back then there weren't too many oils that met the Chrysler MS-6395 spec. Now there are several. Because of the supply chain shortage the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum can be hard to find at times. I noticed today that my Wal-Mart has Castrol Edge Full Synthetic in 5W-20, and it also meets the MS-6395 Chrysler spec.

2021年11月15日 · MS-6395 is not a difficult standard to meet. In fact, pretty much any current API certified oil easily fits into the MS-6395 certification. BUT, and it's a big but, in the event of an issue with the engine, and the 5.7 has exhibited issues with cam/lifters in the past, I personally don't want to give them any reason to deny warranty coverage.
