The ISL6545, ISL6545A makes simple work out of implementing a complete control and protection scheme for a DC/DC stepdown converter driving N-Channel MOSFETs in a synchronous buck topology. Since it can work with either 5V or 12V supplies, this one IC can be used in a wide variety of applications within a system.

It can be used to drive brushless DC (BLDC) motors and other loads. The MP6545 can operate from a supply input voltage (VIN) of up to 45V, and can deliver load currents up to 2.5A per phase. The MP6545 has separate high-side (HS) and low-side (LS) input pins for each output pin.
