2014年12月7日 · The 690 has issues with fuel quality and operation of the fuel pump because of the EFI sensitivity. The rear filler design and the minute fuel injector nozzle mean that crap can get in and stop the bike. In normal use the pump attracts a grey residue from the fuel tank material that will eventually block filters.

2008年11月17日 · I lowered a 2014 690 Enduro R for a fellow. I rode it before and after. While I am not a fast rider, I go at a decent clip. Usually finish mid-pack overall in local hare scrambles. That being said, the guy wanted this bike lowered 2 inches, which I did with internal spacers in the forks and shock.

I'm not interested in the rally type, just something that bolts to the numberplate or bar mounts. Let me know what you are using or have found. Thanks y'all. 2024年9月3日 · IMHO the 690 is an old bike, a 2007 project built to win Dakar Rally when it was raced with big mono on fast trails. Thus it is big, powerful with a long and stable frame. Nowadays rallys are raced with 450 bike with an Enduro/Cross frame to be more nimble as the power output of a 450cc is enough.
