2022年5月26日 · Also, assuming the DOHC MIVEC head off the 30M 6G72 should also be similar to the 6G74 MIVEC DOHC head, then maybe it won't be as hard to setup on either 72, 74 or 75 blocks as they seem to work just like regular DOHC heads would if we swapped them over considering the added deck height of the heads.

2008年3月17日 · The block is NOT the same. Even 6G72 DOHC to 6G72 SOHC are different blocks. As for the swap it is far from easy or a walk in the park. The 6G74 swap alone on a DOHC requires alot but going from a SOHC is going to require much more.

To any Jo-blow it’ll look like a stock 3L; More torque; More power; More return for the same mods done vs a 6G72; Plenty of potential to stroke, or turbocharge, with fantastic results. Parts are NOT hard to come by as some may think. Timing belt is simply a Pajero/Montero 3.5L DOHC belt. Not available in Kevlar though.
