Whoever specced out your laptop decide to pay the little extra for 6GB but didn't want to jump to the cost of 8GB. You do lose dual channel RAM with that setup as configured, so it is slower which is why it's less common.

2013年8月19日 · depends on what you are going to be doing with the laptop. if it will just be surfing the web and e-mail 4 will be enought. the only time you will need more than 4 if if you plan on using it for gaming or video editing. as for the GPU sharing ram i don't know if there are some laptop GPU's that take up some of the system ram so mabe somone else could chime in with that
