Dewey's Heads w/TW-6HG cams - 95 CI | V-Twin Forum
Jan 7, 2005 · SBC Scottsman heads ($395) intended for mild build with bolt-in low lift cams, not your high lift TW-6HG. You can add high lift springs to the Scottsman for $80, but their Vortec ($700) is intended for high lift cams. He also has a Vortec2 for $995. Oh I forgot in the previous post, manifold porting is an additional $95 at SBC.
Pros/Cons Using Woods TW6HG - V-Twin Forum
Jun 19, 2005 · Daves suggestion on the TW5G is a nice alternative to the 6HG. That cam is noisy. The TW5G is the woods answer for the SE heads that came out to handle .575 lift. It has all characteristics equally reduced from the TW6H. This still gives the same general TQ line although reduced slightly, but it not as noisy or as hard on the valve train.

Low Compression on New Build - V-Twin Forum
Jul 4, 2004 · Just screwed together my Hillside heads/Woods 6hg/95" motor with Wiseco flat top forged pistons. So far everything seems OK, but my compression seems low at about 155 to 160 PSI. I've got 150 miles on the build so far. Does it need more break-in …

Rocker box clearancing - V-Twin Forum
Mar 2, 2005 · Is it possible to not have to clearance the rocker boxes or rocker box covers when using the TW-6HG cams (590 lift / 240 duration), Baisley heads, S&S rollers? Would you DEFINETELY know it or hear it if something was hitting? What would be the symptoms? Darren
Roller Rocker Pros / Cons? - V-Twin Forum
Oct 15, 2005 · The 6h is a must have item as to roller rockers as if you do not use them you are going to wear the guides out very fast. also as for P/R in a 6h I have gone to a 3/8 pushrod over the 7/16 as they offer much more room from rod to tube, it is 4130 chrome moly with a .065 wall thickness and they are like 99 for the set of four and will offer easy of adjustment.
