2021年6月30日 · The Grendel (6.5 and 6mm) offers far better performance past 200 yards than the 6.8 ever has. A quick run thru any ballistics calc will show that. That argument has been beaten like a dead horse. Math doesnt lie. The Hagar is an interesting cartridge, and I would be willing to give it a shot with some wildcats if better brass was more available.

2017年1月13日 · I own a 6mmWOA, it has slightly less velocity than a 6mm Hagar. Both of these wildcats are based on the 6.8SPC case. I actually think they would be better choices IF Lapua brass (in 6.8SPC) were available. As things sit, cartridges based on the excellent 6.5 Grendel brass from Lapua are at an advantage regarding case quality.

2024年1月15日 · I have one and it is the version that is simply a 6.8 necked down to 6mm (6 x 43mm) and no other change. It's good round, accurate, plenty fast enough, but to be perfectly honest, between it and the 6.5 x 43 mm and even the 6.8 SPC II loaded with 95 gr. TTSX bullets, the only difference is on paper and IMO that's minor.
