Sep 7, 2021 · Normally line troops will wear the 6SH117 over a slick (no pouches) 6b45. The armor can be taken off if troops need to be lighter or faster for a mission. The two pieces of gear are used together. You do see the 6b45 worn with pouches on but it’s more common with units that aren’t infantry.
