VII Gems is an exclusive all city & international Hip Hop movement of dancers, DJ's, writers and MC's dedicated to the preservation & traditions of Hip Hop.

Super Seven, also known as Melody Stone or Sacred Stone, is an extremely rare mineral with seven crystals in one. The crystals are Amethyst, Cacoxenite, Goethite, Lepidocrocite, Rutile, Smoky Quartz, and Quartz (which all the minerals are usually naturally encased in).

VII Gems was started in 1997 to be a special battle chapter of Rock Steady Crew led by Ken Swift, but ended up becoming its own entity and movement. The concept for the group was all about battling, win, lose or draw.

They would Rock at Linden Park, Grove and Knickerbocker, Putnam Park and many other local parks in Brooklyn. Lil Dave brings a wealth of dance experience and history with performing teaching and lecturing with the VII Gems Rock Dance Division.
