2021年3月19日 · I’m trying to find a plug and play wiring harness, is this plug and play? If you need 4pin, get an aftermarket one, much easier install. This is 7pin, allows you to have a brake controller. Not sure what you would call plug and play. The Mopar wiring harness takes time to install and it seems somewhat involved. Doesnt seem too hard.

2015年3月21日 · I've found the Mopar 7-pin harness (Part # 82210214ab) and ordered that up, but I'm trying to figure out which brake controller to get and if there is a harness for inside the cab portion. Any suggestions are appreciated.

2012年5月14日 · The extra pins on a 7-pin connector provide: a). Trailer brake control. b). Reverse lights on the trailer. c). A "hot" wire to charge the battery on the trailer. You don't get that simply by using a 4 to 7 pin converter.

No reason to reinvent the wheel. I actually bought hitch and wiring from etrailer, but the no splice harness only provides a flat 4 pin.
