2013年11月19日 · I have 880 rds. of 1946 7.62x54 which has lead cores and thin jackets. On gal milk jugs of water, that bullet opens up almost like a hollow point. Odd, but the bullets mike out at .3085" and the hollow lead base is formed almost like a Minnie ball.

2004年11月6日 · Make absolutely certain that the chmaber of your M-44 is clean. If you have any bit of cosmoline left in the chamber, that really seems to be a 'crud magnet' for everything else. Also, a lot of the 7.62x54 ammo is lacquer coated, so it doesn't take too many rounds to build a sticky coat in the chamber.
