2015年10月22日 · From the '68 to '70 model years, the base Road Runner engine was the 383 4-barrel. Options included the 440 Wedge and the 426 Hemi. If you see or read about a '70 RR with a 340, it's an after-market conversion.

2016年12月23日 · When introduced for '68, the Road Runner came standard with a 4-speed, but the 3-speed manual was standard starting in '69, which lowered the cost of the car new (the base price rose for '70). I bought a '70 Road Runner with a 3-speed manual pretty cheap in the mid-'70s, but by then, it was a troublesome rust bucket, and I didn't keep it very long.

2020年12月25日 · Ram used a 6 speed in the Viper trucks and a manual behind the hemi in some 2500's and 3500's I think. So if you were putting a hemi in the Road Runner, I'd think you'd want a beefier transmission. Knowing Chrysler, or any other manufacturer, doubt if they put a heavy duty manual behind the V6.

2015年6月9日 · I don't really want to argue the issue, but you did make me extra curious on the outcome, so, '70 Road Runner was 3450-3550lbs depending on model and this included 383,not sure if heavier engines is taken into consideration, '70 Barracuda/'cuda 2790-3480, the heaviest being convertible. I don't know if this adds weight for the heavier engines.
