2023年5月2日 · I recently purchased a used 7050 MT with an i7-7700. It has a pcie 16x slot but it isn’t super-roomy inside the case. I have searched high and low, but I have not found where this question has been asked/answered before: Which GPU is the most robust/strongest/fastest that can fit inside this case?

2024年6月26日 · You'll need adapter cables to run regular power to Dell's custom Mobos but I've bought them for around $12 for a 2-pack for the 7020/9020 MTs and no explosions yet! If you don't want to change out the PSU on the MT, a used GTX 1650 is your best lowest cost option. Any cheaper than that will be way worse.

2021年2月3日 · Good GPUs that are compatible with Dell Optiplex 7050 Tower. Most GPUs that don't require external power will work. GTX 1650 non super, non TI is the best available. There's a major problem with being able to recommend a GPU because the Dell Optiplex comes with, I believe, a 200w or under power supply.

2023年10月21日 · Wouldnt use the 6500XT since its performance suffers on PCIe 3.0 systems. As for the 6600, it should fit. But the real question is can the PSU handle it? I believe the 7050 uses a proprietary PSU with no PCIe power connectors. So you wont be able to use a GPU >75w with the stock power supply.
