2020年4月20日 · This is where your MOS designations split. You will not be a 7252 until you complete training on local control. Before that you are a 7257 and, unless things have changed, that is your primary MOS, and everything else is secondary. If you are in RADAR you can become a 7253 or 54, depending on what your facilities designation is.

2007年9月19日 · HI, I ship on Nov. 5, I am interested in choosing MOS 7251, Air Traffic Controller Trainee, to be a MOS 7257, Air Traffic Controller in Aviation Operations.... I scored a 84 on the ASVAB and a 116 on the other parts.... I had my local recruiter send a request for Aviation Operations a month ago. But the request never came back.

2014年7月16日 · Hello all I am a poolee with a year until I ship. I've been looking at jobs and came upon 7257 Air Traffic Controller. I found what I could about it but still have questions, such as how long and where is the school? What is the day to day for an ATC? Will you always be stuck in the tower or can you be in the field as an ATC?

The decision authority is ultimately the CMC but will get made at the O5/6 level. Make sure you look at the SRB MARADMIN and look for LM next to the MOS you're trying to go to, if it isn't there that means the SRB is for Marines currently holding that MOS and not LMers. Some folks are just in it for the money and not the job.
