2012年4月4日 · I currently have a 77 CJ5 with the I-6, 3 speed, Dana 20 T case, and AMC 20 and Dana 30 axles. The CJ5 is very capable, but as the previous post says, they are prone for rust, parts arr somewhat hard to find, and expensive when you do find them, and they are not made for a big person. I'm 5'10" and its a puzzle trying to get in! Haha.

2016年6月11日 · Transmission should be a T-150. Ive got a 77 CJ7 with the same one. I have rebuilt it myself a few times. The first time i replaced the synchros. It kept popping out of several gears. Once i got it back together, it still popped out of one gear so I replaced a pressed on gear that had perfectly ground down and had gone unnoticed.

2021年4月17日 · A little while back I did some work for a guy who paid me by giving me his CJ5. It's a 73 with a 76 body on it (I think), and has been converted to a Chevy 350 TBI. It's been sitting for several years, but ran fine when he parked it. Ttoday I finally got around to getting it going again. I changed the oil/filter, and put a new battery in.

Does anyone have a decent wiring diagram for the conversion to a 79 motorcraft dist,ign module, coil,ballast resistor that they will be willing to share?
