Mar 15, 2007 · The F-250 came with the 60 front as an option in 78 and 79. 1979 was the first year for the 4 x 4 F-350, and all came with the front 60 stock. Both had standard Dana 60 rear ends. There's such a minor difference between the 2, its hardly worth mentioning.

Apr 7, 2004 · Anyways the ol '78 got an early christmas present a pair of rear 6" skyjackers to replace the stockers. Lookin like 3 more inches of lift as well oh well. Perdicament tho, u can see the shackle angle now, seems the skyjackers are like 3 inches shorter.

Apr 11, 2014 · I have done the 78 F350 brake booster/MC swap and it is straight forward no fab or mods. Just reroute your lines to come in from the other side on the MC. More info can be found at fullsizebronco.com in the tech section. There is a difference between the 78 and 79s.
