2011年10月21日 · If your 7M-GE has a blown head gasket, then clean the head while it is out, replace the head gasket and torque it up correctly as kamesama said for a rock solid engine that will last another decade or more. If it isn't blown yet, then torque it up anyway and it will likely last quite awhile before requiring a new head gasket.

2007年2月23日 · Making the alternator work in the proper location is very easy, just extend the 3 wires and the battery cable. You can actually use the factory jza70 battery extension cable if you can find one.

2008年2月9日 · just wondering if anyone had followed the path of blown headgasket goodnes and built a 7mge to higher than standard specs... and if so how did u get there... I have Brian Crower stage 2 cams, bored out to 84mm, ARP studs, Supra ACIS intake, cat back system, and a few tweaks in the ecu and it is now a reasonably pokey motor.

2008年8月3日 · I would like to start a thread on upgrades to the 7mge engine that are worth doing. I have a an 88 7MGE and I am not looking for turbo upgrade or to race my car. I just want my car to run better as I am sure other do too.

2022年12月23日 · For my 87na-t project, I'm still having zero luck in getting an ecu wiring harness for it. Although it will still be a while before I get to the wiring part, I might as well come up with a plan "B". My plan "B" is to modify my existing NA harness to work with this conversion which is pretty much following OEM.

2004年8月20日 · The swap is very simple, everything is bolt-in, think about it, same car, same engine, must be bolt-in. Differances between the 7m-gte and 7m-ge are that the GTE has oil squirters, a turbo oil return in the block, intake cam is different (pre 87-88), low comp pistons, ECU, wiring harness, PS reserviour, intake manifold, extra knock sensor, coil ...
