The best group we can get out of them is about 4" at 100 they are up and down and left and right shooting the same way every time. It does not matter if it is factory or reloaded bullets. 2011年11月1日 · I have recently purchased an older Browning BAR in 7mm Remington Magnum. I purchased some 1x fired Barnes 7mm Rem Mag brass and trimmed the brass to 2.485 inches before running them through a RCBS X FL die. After FL sizing I took a 150 grain Nosler Long Range Accubond bullet and seated it so it would fit into the magazine.

2014年8月15日 · Browning-BAR 7mm rem magnum. I've owned this gun for 20 years or so. At purchase and up until about a year ago this gun was extremely accurate. It has started to fly rounds even at close distance (50 yds). It is unpredictable. it will shoot a couple rounds close and then fly them away again.

2012年5月23日 · When my father passed in 2001, I bought an old Belgium made BAR in 270 off an old man here that was quitting hunting. He handloaded the 150 NPT. Its trigger broke in a crisp 3# pull! I had my smith tear it down, ream the gas port a bit, it was a tad out of spec, and reblue it. I had some engraving done on it as a memorial to my dad.

Book max shows 63 grains, and test loads show 3050 FPS. Zero pressure signs. Any advice? I want a solid 600 yard load...

2020年10月17日 · If you get a 7mm Mag with a BOSS you can expect most ammo to shoot sub moa. You will give up some velocity due to the effective bbl length of 20". I have had BARs and sold them as I find the Benelli R1 to be a better handling rifle. My 300 winmag will shoot 3 in 3/4" with a worked up handload that pushes a 165 Accubond @3100 and kills very well.

2019年10月25日 · I have reloaded for 7mm Rem Mag before for bolt action before and have had great success with H1000. With the bolt action I had enough room in the mag to make the round long enough to be .010 off the lands and had great success with that load. The Browming BAR has zero room for an extended round so I am stuck with Saami specs with a 9.5:1 twist.

2016年2月13日 · Hey guys I just bought a browning bar 7mm WSM with a boss system. I'm also going on my first elk hunt this year. I'm gonna use my browning bar 300 win mag for the primary. I wanted to hear some elk stories with the 7mm WSM. Any bullet (factory) suggestions would be grand. Also some budget scope ideas would be appreciated.
