2010年5月10日 · Any love for the 7mm Rem Mag? I have an old'ish Winchester M70 Westerner (late 70's) that shoots great. Bone stock with an old Bushnell 4x12 scope (also late 70's model) that still rings a 6" plate at 300 yards every time with cheap factory PPU ammo, either 139 or 174 grain...matters not.

2012年12月2日 · Re: 7mm Rem. Mag load with Hodgdon extreme powder? Retumbo is the ticket for 168-190's; H1000 slightly edges it at the 150-162's but for 162's it's a toss up. Retumbo is a good "heavy bullet" powder there. From a 7 RM you should get closer to 3150fps with the 162 Amax using either of those powders.

2005年12月27日 · Re: Leave it as a 7mm Rem Mag or go 7mm SAUM I shoot two 7mm saums, I love them. For outright performance the 7 mag is probably a better choice. The difference in case design a lets the short mags burn most of their powder in the case and not the barrel, like the mag, resulting in more shots downrange before the barrel gets hot.
