I shoot 150 Partitions over 42 gr Varget and its a killer at 2740fps in a 22" Tikka t3x. If you expect longer shots, the 162 ELD-M is my go to bullet in my 280. I agree with Sledhead... However, the 7mm-08 does have a little bit more schlitz, due to the case capacity that the Creedmoor gives up to fit long high BC bullets into a standard short action or AR-10 mag. Those are all theoretically differences though.
