2004年2月8日 · I'm using a Remmington Rolling Block #1 Smokless action in 7X57R, and utilize 7X57 Speer Reloading data reduced 15%. Accuracy is in the 1.5" range at 100 yards with 154 grain bullets. The Rem. started out as a standard 7X57, but someone before I got it decided to cut it to receive the rimmed version and installed a rimmed extractor in it.

I have owned 5 different 7X57's (Mauser-type rimless case), and consider them as good as any .30/'06 when loaded with 175-grain or heavier bullets. I have a J.P. Sauer double in 8X60RS, and would be just as happy with it if it were in 7X57R!!
