There is one, or a couple of tiny mistakes, but I may consider making this my 8-4 sum of best. (Working on a SMB1 sum of best run)

2025年3月1日 · World 8-4 is the fourth and final level of World 8 in Super Mario Bros., as well as the thirty-second and final level in the game overall. The final castle level consists of several Warp Pipes leading between rooms. One pipe in each area takes the player either to the next room or back to the start.

You do two frame setup as usual by walking off the first pipe and pressing B mid air, jump to hit the pixel at a usual spot, and do a backwards jump at the pipe instead of a forwards jump. By doing a backwards jump, Mario clips slightly into the pipe, which gives you more frames to jump as you're in the pipe for more frames.

There's an invisible block that you can reveal two spaces left of it (pictured, right), which will help you to jump up to the floating pipe. Take it down to reach the next area.
