The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) Section 8 waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one month in October 2014; and before that in 2010. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen. To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. Preferences have not yet been confirmed.
