2019年2月23日 · Hi. I have a laptop with an i5-8250U and while gaming, the CPU temperature usually hovers at 90C and would go up to almost 100C on some games. If I turn off turbo-boost, it drops down to 60C-70C but performance suffers. Are temps at around 90C okay? Any suggestions on lowering temps without turning off Turbo Boost, if that's possible?

The answer provided previously was just to let you know that currently, the Intel® XTU it works mainly for Intel® Core™ X and K Processors/Unlocked processors and that might be the reason why your Intel® Intel® Core™ i5-8250U processor was removed for the list of supported products.

2020年5月2日 · here is my .ini file I have adjusted it a little, and I just benchmark it and got 1570 on Cinebench you may want to adjust the settings to suit you; even though the same core i5-8250u but there might be inconsistencies from different manufactures... I have included the whole software in the .rar file you can use it or just replace the .ini file.
