2019年4月12日 · On the '86 the spring seat is open between the screw bosses... On the '89 the aluminum seat fully wraps around. One of the mods I found for this swap requires you to grind/chamfer the top edge of the seat between the bosses enough to allow the spring to move freely through it's Arch.
