The Flagpole No. 89 was available between the years 1956 and 1958. The cloth 48 star flag (Hawaii and Alaska became states in 1959) is very realistic. Early versions of this flag have a stitched border, while later issues have just a plain border. It came with a BLUE or PURPLE pennant with "LIONEL" in WHITE written on it.

Starting in 2017, eight times a year we proudly display the U.S. Colors along 89A in West Sedona from Dry Creek Road to Airport Road. This has become known as the “89 Flags on 89A” project. SAVCO expanded this visual display to Uptown Sedona in 2020. Gratefully, the local Kiwanis Club stepped up to manage the installation of 28 additional Flags.

There are two #89 flag poles. Both appear to have been restored at some point. One has it's original rubberstamping still intact on the base. Both are missing their finials, one has the wire attachment for the flag, the other one is missing. It is just a little curl of wire soldered to the top of the pole to hang the flag from.
