I know some of the memory is reserved by the system, but even then shouldn't I atleast get around 7-7.5gb as useable. I am not able to play games (which need 5-6 gb ram) properly. A system is not at idle with around eight Chrome browser Windows and tabs open. Discord, and two active searches. Not to mention a system hogging 'Anti-malware' program.

It seemed alright at first, until I found out that the new Windows 10 is only detecting 8 GB of installed Ram when I actually have 16 installed. But it keeps telling me I have only 8 GB installed. 2017年8月29日 · I'm clueless as to why I cannot use 7.89GB of RAM again even though the onboard Intel HD 4600 is disabled. I've tried multiple forums and no solutions have helped so far. My specs are Intel Core i5-4690, 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB Kingston HyperX), EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and Windows 10 Home 64-bit. It's a GIGABYTE H81M-DS2V mobo.

2023年5月30日 · I have an omen 17 laptop (from 2019 I believe) with 16gb ram and since I upgraded to windows 11 my task manager is only showing that I have 8 gb of ram. the problem seems to come and go randomly.

2022年3月6日 · Windows 11 is using significantly more RAM than Windows 10 despite Task Manager showing little usage by programs and services. After shutting down everything non-essential, such as OneDrive and all user programs/services, Windows is showing 4.5GB of RAM used out of 8GB available while Task Manager is showing roughly 500MB usage at the most.

2023年2月2日 · Greetings, recently I've encounted this problem, and noticed that my pc was running slow, I thought that having apps running at the background was the problem, unfortunately not. My pc that has 8gb ram installed can only use up to 3.4gb of ram when not so long ago it can use up to 6gb of ram (which I think is normal based on some research).
