2022年1月9日 · You know the problem. Back in - was it 2010, 2011? - the Blu-ray alliance decided to fight back against a growing market of media players, thriving on the back of PirateBay & Co. Remember the Popcorns, Mede8er etc? The Sigma based Dunes at the time had the official Blu-ray stack and could play anything like a real deal Blu-ray player.

2024年9月29日 · I seen that there were other players based on the Amilogic S928X-K chipset such as the Dune Solo 8K, Minx U8K Ultra and the Ugoos SK1. The latter two can be bought for around £200. Can I ask, is upscaling Blu-Ray to Dolby Vision, Is this exclusive to the Zidoo UHD8000 or do these other players do it too?

2023年10月5日 · I have connected my old non-4k blu-ray player and played std dvds via my Sony TA-AN1000. The image quality is awful ( sound great) whereas when connected directly to the new LG G3 or older Samsung Q7F the upscaling was great.

2018年12月30日 · Hi all, have had this player for a little while now, really happy with it. It was working fine on Wednesday night and I’ve come to watch a disc tonight and there is no sound! Tried different discs plus Blu-ray vs 4K Blu-ray, nothing doing. Have tried a different hdmi cable, still nothing. Picture fine but no sound. Any ideas appreciated.
