The more pixels are changing between frames (especially bright or high contrast areas), the worse it will be.

As mentioned by u/Teqnap you should not stream on 900p but on 936p instead as it’s divisible by 8. I’m gaming on a 2560x1440 resolution and I’ve set my stream output to 1664x936p keeping the 16:9 ratio. As for bitrates, it all depends on the service. Twitch supports up to 6000Kbps for regulars and affiliates and I believe 8500Kbps for partners.
