2009年7月27日 · '91-00 is the most "advanced" and IMO, best overall generation of the XR600. They have cartridge forks, rear disc brake, and weigh at least 40lbs less than a 650L on average. Riding one will probably make your 500 feel ancient. I replaced my 81 XR500R with a 93 XR600R. Big improvement. The 92 got a larger front axle if I remember correctly.
