The 1994 WR is the same basic bike as the '94 YZ250. It differs from its motocross brother by way of an 18inch rear wheel, a wide-ratio gearbox, an 0-ring chain, and a 3.5-gallon fuel tank....

2007年12月19日 · I'd love to have a wr250 given to me. ;) The WR 250 is known for a lot of power and the gearing is great. Especially for the open areas where you hit 5th gear regularly. There is not much you can do to make it lighter. You can look at the Clarke Tanks but I am not sure that a stock yz 94 tank will fit.

2017年3月20日 · Here's a few pics of the bike, it needs lots of love, the tank seat and swingarm are WR250, but we'll see about the engine once I am able to check the gears. I had a set of 03 YZ450F forks from another project that I put on it along with fenders from the same bike.

2018年2月28日 · In 93-95 i believe, the wr and yz were identical except the tank, rear wheel and kickstand. Could have been 93-94 now that i think about it. I still have the original tank on my 97 and am used to it after 21 years.

2020年8月30日 · I have a 94 wr 250 that I bought new just before my kids were born. It is in incredible condition with only the bars and silencer changed out from stock. I also changed out the stock bridgestones as they were chunking the knobs off 1st ride.

2018年2月12日 · It was a very fast 250....the KDX's (200/220) work better in tighter stuff though, and are a more fun trail bike for woods work.

Launch the WR over an erosion bank and the result is pure bliss, with the firm-footed landing you'd expect from a motocrosser on a formed track. It's a very good set-up for the faster guys, and one even the casual rider would quickly appreciate. Like the KTM, the Husky feels very confident over the ground.
