The Porsche Cayenne GTS was a variant of the 957 Cayenne that was introduced for the 2008 model year. The GTS was equipped with a distinct body kit, larger wheels, sports suspension, and lightened components. In addition to these improvements, the 957 GTS was fitted with a powerful 4.8L V8 engine with an output of 399hp and 369 lb ft of torque.

为了进一步提升销量，保时捷给卡宴957开发了一个新车型---卡宴GTS。在很久以前，GTS跟曾经的卡雷拉一样，是只属于保时捷高性能车型的专属名号，904卡雷拉GTS、宽体车身的924 Turbo以及顶配928都是保时捷“GTS”里的佼佼者。

The “GTS” now standed for special equipment offered for a better price. The Cayenne GTS was technically a Cayenne S with a bit more power from 5500 rpm and the looks of the Cayenne Turbo, just that the red brake calipers were actually Cayenne S items painted red and not the big red brakes of the Turbo.
