Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. Piggy-back reservoir rear shock offers adjustable compression and rebound damping, preload and ride height to match a wide range of operating conditions. Kawasaki's ZX-7R is a perfect example of motorcycle engineering refinement.

In 1996, Kawasaki changed the U.S. naming convention for its 750cc sport bikes. The ZX-7 was now to be known as the ZX-7R and the ZX-7R became the ZX-7RR. This model year was a large update to the 750cc Kawasaki, receiving an entirely new engine and dual Ram-air inlets. The engine has a bore of 73mm and a stroke of 44.7mm.

1996 ZX7RR (N1)- The ZX7RR was only produced in ’96: The race version (“N” model) had a similar spec to the previous M models (although the alloy tank was now replaced by a steel one), but it now also boasted an adjustable steering head angle (with additional Kawasaki Racekit parts). The flatslide carbs went from 39mm to 41mm.

Produced from 1989 to 2003, the Kawasaki ZX-7R is a sport-oriented motorcycle that succeeded the venerable GPZ900R. The 748cc Ninja featured an aggressive, full-faired aesthetic, a broad, usable powerband, an inline-4 engine, and a 167-mph top speed rating.
